ChemoGuard

ChemoGuard is an educational tower defense game created for a student project.

It focuses on educating players on how chemotherapy is used to strengthen the body and fight off cancer cells. Players use different towers with unique attack patterns and effects to combat waves of cancer cells. The enemies are designed around different types and stages of cancer.

The project is an accessible tower defense game aimed at school-aged children who are themselves or know someone who is battling cancer. The children will receive relevant and engaging learning that addresses common questions about chemotherapy. The game covers chemotherapy, how it works, and the various application methods available to pediatric patients. The game has different towers that correlate to an application method and enticing tool tip pop-ups that give informative blurbs about the current topic.
